SATYA runs one of the most considered digital textile print operations in this region. Not a printing service. A design and print studio — where original textile compositions are developed, refined, and printed on fabric using DuPont Artistri water-based pigment inks — the professional ink system used by premium textile studios worldwide.
DuPont Artistri is not a generic printing ink. It is a professional textile pigment ink system with over thirty years of DuPont research and innovation behind it. Water-based. OEKO-TEX Eco Passport certified. GOTS certified — the global benchmark for safe and sustainable textile production. Outstanding colourfastness and crock fastness — the colour that goes onto the fabric is the colour that stays on the fabric, wash after wash, wear after wear. Batch-to-batch consistency means every metre of a repeat print exactly as the first. This is the ink system SATYA chose because it is the standard the studio’s work demands.
SATYA does not only print. SATYA designs what it prints. The textile design team at SCO-25 develops original compositions drawing from a vocabulary that spans sixteen of the world’s great textile traditions — Jaipur block print, Yogyakarta batik, Kyoto Yuzen watercolour, Bukhara Suzani, Ottoman geometric, Marrakech Zellige, and more. Each tradition is studied, interpreted, and recomposed into a SATYA textile direction — then printed in-house on the fabric the composition was designed for.
Every colourway is available on demand. No inventory. No minimum run. A design produced once can be printed in amber, in slate, in teal, in ivory — each as its first edition. This is what print on demand means at this studio. Not convenience. Possibility.
DuPont Artistri pigment inks print on a wide range of fabrics — cotton, cotton-poly blends, viscose, silk, linen, and mixed weaves. At SATYA the composition is designed for the fabric it will live on. The weight, the hand, the drape — all considered before the file goes to print. A Mughal garden composition for a matka silk jacket reads differently from the same motifs on a pure cotton kurta length. The design team knows this. Every print decision at SCO-25 begins with the fabric, not the design.
A fabric designed and printed at SCO-25 does not have to leave the SATYA ecosystem to become a finished piece. Within twenty metres the fabric can go to SATYA The Workshop — where the embroidery team works aari, zari, baadla, kut dana, or any of the techniques the Workshop carries — directly onto the printed surface. Then to Booths 88-91 — where the Bespoke Captain and the Fashion Designer construct it to a customer’s measurements under the Creative Director’s direction.
Design. Print. Embroidery. Construction. Fabric care. All within DLF Hyde Park Estate, New Chandigarh. No other studio in this region offers this cycle under one address. SATYA has been doing it from the beginning.
Fashion designers who need original textile compositions printed on the right fabric for their collection. Brands who want India’s textile design vocabulary interpreted with authority and precision. Bespoke customers who want a specific print developed for their piece — a colour, a motif, a repeat that exists nowhere else. Wholesale buyers who want designed and printed fabric for their own production. Home decor customers who want textile compositions for curtains, table runners, or wall art — designed and printed here, embroidered or constructed as required.
If you have a design brief, we develop from it. If you have a reference, we interpret it. If you have a fabric and a vision, we bring both together.
