There is a standard this studio keeps for every piece that leaves here. Not for the occasions that demand it. Not for the prices that justify it. Because it is the only way this studio knows how to work.
SATYA bespoke is not a service offering. It is a process — led by the Creative Director, designed by the Fashion Designer, and constructed by a Bespoke Captain who has been at this studio since its beginning. Three people whose combined knowledge of fabric, cut, proportion, and finish is not a credential on a wall. It is the reason every piece that leaves here fits the person it was made for and no one else.
Every bespoke piece begins with a conversation. Not a form. Not a catalogue selection. A conversation about the occasion, the fabric, the silhouette, the detail. What the piece needs to do. How it needs to feel. What the person wearing it wants it to say.
From that conversation the brief is built. Fabric is selected from what the studio holds or sourced specifically for the piece. The Creative Director and Fashion Designer direct the design — proportion, cut, collar, construction detail, embellishment placement if any. Nothing moves to the Bespoke Captain without the Creative Director’s approval.
The Bespoke Captain receives a piece fully directed. Every measurement taken with precision. Every seam placed with intention. The construction at SATYA is not adaptation of a standard pattern. It is building from the measurements of one person, for one purpose, one time.
Where the piece carries embroidery — aari, zari, zardozi, kut dana, resham, gota patti, farisha dori, or any combination of the techniques SATYA The Workshop carries — the embroidery team works alongside the bespoke team. The piece moves between the two until it is complete.
Before the piece is closed for the final time a photograph is taken. The customer sees it. They confirm. Then it is finished and it leaves here.
For men — structured jackets and coats, Jodhpuri suits, velvet blazers, three-piece sets, kurta sets, bush coats, ban collar pieces, double-breasted and single-breasted tailoring across every fabric and occasion.
For women — bespoke suits and kurta sets, lehengas, pre-draped sarees, embroidered pieces from clean to fully worked, silk organza and pure silk constructions, Co-Ord sets, unstitched fabric made to specification, and every occasion from daily to bridal.
The range is as wide as the brief requires. SATYA has made pieces for everyday occasions and pieces for weddings. For summer and for winter. In cotton and in silk velvet. What does not change is the standard behind every one of them.
Notch lapel or Peak lapel. Single breasted or double breasted. The three-roll-two jacket that most people cannot name but every tailor notices. Pocket flap or jetted pocket or patch pocket. Sleeve button or Surgeon cuff. The collar that sits exactly right on this neck and no other.
These are not decorative decisions. They are construction decisions. They determine how a piece reads on a body, how it moves, how it ages. At SATYA every one of them is made deliberately and explained to the customer before it is made permanent.
The Creative Director has spent her life understanding what fabric does on a body, what an occasion demands of a garment, and what a customer needs from the piece they commission. That understanding — built across a lifetime and sharpened across years of leading this studio — is what directs every bespoke piece SATYA produces.
The Fashion Designer brings NIFT trained design discipline to every silhouette and every construction decision. The design is never separated from the making. Every piece is checked on a body — fit, fall, and finish confirmed — before the customer’s version is completed.
The Bespoke Captain has been at this studio since its beginning. His continuity is the studio’s continuity. The first bespoke piece this studio made, and the most recent one share the same standard because the same hands and the same eye have been present for both.
