A smart ethnic kurta set for men, bespoke and complete, and something exciting for men this festive season. The kurta is dyed in a two-shade ombré that moves from Dark green at the shoulders into soft sage green at the hem. On the sleeves the same fade runs down to the cuffs, so the deepest colour sits at the top and the brightest at the edges. The result is a graded colour that looks lit from within.
The embellishment is concentrated at the collar, neckline and cuffs, and all of it is worked by hand. A line of flat gold sequins runs down the V-shaped opening, each one fixed with a cross-stitch in contrasting thread. Small mirrors ringed in pink stitching sit between the sequins, and fine strands of silver beads branch out from the line like tiny rays. The mandarin collar carries a matching band of sequins and mirrors. The same motif repeats along the cuffs, so the wrists echo the neckline.
The kurta is cut short, around hip length, with a relaxed straight fit and side slits, which keeps it easy to move in and easy to dress up. It is paired with a straight-cut white trouser, so the colour and the gold work stand out against a clean base.
