An unstitched three-piece set-in pale aqua, embroidered in gold, silver and rose-gold. Fine lines of sequins and beads run the full length of the kurta. A pomegranate-shaped medallion sits at the front of the neckline, pomegranate vines travel along the hem, and leaf sprigs rise at the sides. The raw-silk texture of the base fabric adds a soft, natural slub that lets the embroidery stand out.
The sheer dupatta shades from aqua into deep magenta. It is worked with a lattice of silver bugle beads, small stones scattered across the surface, and a scalloped sequin edge. The Jaal catches the light as the dupatta moves, and the magenta gives the cool aqua a festive lift.
The embroidery was conceptualised, designed and executed in-house at SATYA The Workshop, entirely by hand. The sequin work is laid in gold, silver and rose-gold tones, in lines down the kurta and along the dupatta edge. Fine tube beads and small round beads are strung in lines, packed into the pomegranate motifs and worked as the lattice across the dupatta. Faceted glass drops and small stones are set along the vines, and fine pink thread brings out the leaf details. This is 100% handwork, not hand-look, meaning the embroidery is stitched and beaded by hand rather than produced by a machine to resemble handwork.
The set is made once and made again only on request. It is available unstitched, and can also be stitched bespoke, with the pattern drafted fresh to your own measurements, in time for the festive season.
