this piece carries two hand embroidery techniques worked together. Zardozi covers the body in a fine diamond and floral medallion pattern, coiled metallic thread building the repeat across the whole surface. Dori work carries the larger floral motifs at the yoke and hem, coiled gold thread spiraled into petals and leaves, each centre finished with a cluster of sequins and bugle beads. A pearl-strung border traces the yoke and hem edge. The dupatta, in solid magenta organza, carries sequin work along its border. Every stage designed and executed entirely in-house.
